It creates a field of electric potential — what we call the “DENBA field” — within a radius of roughly 50 cm of the discharge plate. While an animal is inside that space, the water molecules in its body are given a very fine vibration.
It does not warm the body and it does not pass a current through it. The animal simply spends time inside the field; that is the whole of it.

Nothing at all. They rest on the discharge plate, or within about 50 cm of it, exactly as they would anyway. Nothing is attached to them and they do not need to be held still. It can be used while they are asleep.

A radius of roughly 50 cm from the discharge plate is the guide. For a small dog or a cat that covers most of a single cage. For a larger dog, or a larger cage, we would suggest placing the plate where they actually settle to rest.

Both dogs and cats. Several animals can use it at once as long as they are inside the DENBA field — roughly 50 cm around the discharge plate. The field does have a limit, so the efficient thing is to place it where they gather to sleep.

What DENBA products generate is an electromagnetic field in the extremely low frequency (ELF) band. It is of the same order as a household fluorescent light, and spending long periods in it is at a level that does not affect infants or animals.
People who are pregnant, and people who use a pacemaker, should not use it.

Continuous 24-hour use is fine. Rated power consumption is 2 W, which works out at about 1.44 kWh over a month of running non-stop. What that costs depends on your local tariff.
There is nothing to switch on and off. Once it is in place, you can simply leave it.

This varies a great deal from animal to animal, and we cannot promise “a change in X days”.
Places that have installed it have told us things like “he was remarkably settled, even straight after surgery” and “she always sleeps on the board”. Those are the personal impressions of the people concerned, and the same will not happen for every animal.
Our suggestion is to put it where they already spend their time, and watch.

Wipe the main unit with a soft dry cloth. Marks on the discharge plate (the housing is TPE) can be wiped off with a well wrung-out cloth.
Never let the cable connection get wet. Water on it can cause a fault. Do not put it in a washing machine and do not soak it. Let it dry completely before use.
It sits where an animal is in direct contact with it, so full cleaning instructions come with the product, and you are welcome to ask us at info@denba.jp.

One main unit takes one discharge plate. To cover a wider area you would add a second main unit. Tell us the size of the cage or the room and we will suggest the best arrangement.

DENBA products normally carry a one-year manufacturer warranty. When purchased from us it is extended by a further year, for two years in total. Faults arising in normal use within the warranty period are repaired or replaced at no charge.

Repairs go back through the dealer you bought from to the DENBA factory. The factory inspects the unit and work only begins once you have approved the quotation, so nothing proceeds before you agree to it. Repair charges depend on the cause and the parts involved, which is why we do not publish a guide price. Terms outside Japan are confirmed at the time of quotation.
